With more than 200 acres of nurseries across two states, we are passionate in our quest to remain at the forefront of plant quality and customer service.
Prestige Plants is based in Kinglake, Victoria with a secondary large growing site in Alstonville, New South Wales.
The GM / Head of Commercial has responsibility for a significant and dynamic business, with more than 60 staff.
Prestige is growing strongly and has big ambitions. The successful candidate will be empowered with autonomy and support for growth.
What you’ll do
We are currently seeking an experienced GM / Head of Commercial to lead our team in this exciting period of change and progression.
You will lead all commercial aspects of the Prestige team, including:
- ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction through leadership of our sales team
- growing our existing major accounts and landing new key customers with a committed and expert sales team
- managing significant growing operations through our skilled and experienced nursery managers / team leaders
- managing our delivery transport fleet of heavy vehicles
- overseeing and monitoring and communication of KPIs across all divisions
- managing key commercial relationships of the business, and
- fostering our customer service and safety first culture through your leadership and actions.

What you'll need
- Excellent people leadership and management skills, including a love of building and developing your own 'A Team'
- Strong understanding of major projects, likely in construction and/or landscaping
- Demonstrated experience in leading people and achieving operational excellence
- Excellence in building and growing long-term customer relationships
- Very strong commercial understanding and the ability to translate these insights into action items
- Outstanding at prioritising and think on your feet
- Hands on and loves variety
