As the General Manager Human Resources at Construction Equipment Australia, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the HR function within our Corporate department located in Horningsea Park. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a significant impact within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels including the Executive Leadership team and Board
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex people-related and business challenges
- Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality services to internal stakeholders across the organisation.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify current and future HR needs, as well as contribute to strategic decision-making processes. - Manage employee compensation and benefits programmes while maintaining competitive yet cost-effective practices.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an environment that values and respects individual differences.
- Proven experience as a HR manager or other senior HR role
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Degree in Human Resources or related field;
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritise
