Start the New Year in an Exciting New Role! Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.
Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments have an opportunity for an experienced Hotel professional to lead the Hotel and teams as General Manager. As General Manager, you will showcase your inspiring leadership skills, along with your strategic vision; to sustain an engaged team and continue the culture, provide a memorable guest experience and maximise operating results.
- Ensuring the quality of operations and high performance of the Hotel through a commitment to product and service quality, the management of Hotel team members and operational efficiencies.
- Inspire, develop and lead a large team of hospitality pros.
- Contribute positively to the local tourism economy to drive a strong brand presence. Building local relationships and engaging with partners.
- Achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction.
- Proven ability with cost controls across departments.
- Work closely with the Portfolio support hub team to grow the business and develop your skills in revenue, sales, marketing and finance.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous General Manager Experience within a similar hotel brand or business
- Passionate to grow and develop self and others, a proven leader who is able to inspire those around them
- Strategic, creative and able to communicate effectively
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs.
