The General Manager – Imaging Services is responsible for leadership across the Medical Imaging and BreastScreen services within Western NSW LHD.Imaging Services is one of five district services in the newly established District-wide Services Division, part of the Service Delivery Directorate.The service provides a variety of medical Imaging Services in over 28 locations across the full expanse of Western NSW LHD. The services are provided in either fulltime or outreach capacity dependent on the location, from Bathurst to Cobar and Bourke.Radiology services are provided with a combination of staff specialist and VMO radiologists supported by third party contracted radiology services in an onsite and teleradiology capacity.The General Manager has a dual role also as the Director BreastScreen Greater Western and provides leadership and strategic management of the BreastScreen Greater Western service. This service provides screening and assessment services across both Western NSW and Far West LHDs which covers 50% of the state of NSW. The services are delivered via four fixed locations and a mobile screening van.The General Manager has a direct reporting leadership team of seven Chief radiographers, District PACS-RIS Manager and seven indirect Chief radiographers who operationalise the medical imaging service.
