ARTC is seeking a new General ManagerInfrastructure Projects who will lead and direct the development and efficient delivery of a portfolio of projects to meet the safety, time, budget and quality targets, ensuring certainty in realising the benefits that these programs of capital work and/or targeted capital projects of a complex or critical nature, deliver to the customers of ARTC.
This role will be responsible for the lifecycle of projects including concept assessment, project feasibility, project assessment, project approval, project implementation and project closeout. This includes delivering scope clarity, cost certainty, achievable schedule, benchmark safety performance, reduced environmental impacts, reliability, and maintainability, from investigation through to handover.
The successful candidate will have the leadership capability to engage a geographically dispersed team, which will require spending time leveraging capability onsite. Therefore, this role requires a hands-on leader, who will help teams work through an uptick on operational disciplines. The successful candidate will have an enterprise mindset and will be a critical figure in ensuring sustainable business frameworks across the organisation.
As leader in the ARTC business, the General ManagerInfrastructure Projects will play a key role in strengthening the culture that honours ARTC’s history, while embracing the new and progressive.
