In this position, you will spearhead the commercial success and financial performance of the Australian branch and you will be tasked with developing and executing local business strategies that align with corporate objectives, driving above-market growth in revenue and earnings.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term objectives to achieve revenue growth aligned with market potential.
- Liaise with the CEO to ensure that business plans are synchronized with global strategies and market demands.
- Identify and pursue business initiatives for collaboration, technology introduction, and acquisition.
- Monitor competitive trends, customer dynamics, and technology trends to provide timely feedback for strategic development.
- Cultivate a high-performance team culture, fostering skill enhancement and improved performance.
- Collaborate with segment leaders to devise and execute effective local sales and marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and strategic partners.
- Develop technical sales support to reinforce our reputation as an innovation leader.
- Oversee branch operations, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
- Manage sales channels to support marketing strategies and maximize revenue growth.
- Review sales targets, forecasts, and budgets, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Enhance team integration with corporate headquarters and support company-wide initiatives.
- Promote emotional and social intelligence within the team and maintain a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D., or MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in business unit management, with at least 5 years in full P&L responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a General Manager in a similar field managing a diverse product portfolio.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
