ABOUT THE ROLE
The General Manager Operations is a senior level manager role responsible for leading the operational, budget and financial performance of services, setting and achieving goals and providing leadership and direction to a diverse workforce across our Community Programs, including DFV, Homelessness, Family Preservation, NDIS Community programs, ADE and more. The portfolio is typically responsible for a $18 million + budget and programs over a number of regional areas.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Substantial experience in a senior leadership role within an organisation in the Community Services industry.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Government and NDIS, including challenges in regard to not-for-profit organisations, community, NDIS and Government relationships.
- Ability to drive and lead operational performance.
- Proven ability to successfully lead and manage a large team (multifaceted roles and levels) in complex environments.
- Capacity to develop strategic partnerships and networks with providers and stakeholders external to the organisation.
- Demonstrated successful experience with managing financial performance.
- Proficient Decision-making and exercise of judgment within a delegation of authority.
- Proven ability to provide expert, high-level advice within your portfolio of management.
- Ability and willingness to conduct regular travel across the entire Community Programs portfolio.
