Mayfield Aged Care is offering an exciting opportunity to a highly experienced and motivated General Manager/Facility Manager to inspire and lead our dedicated team at Mayfield Aged Care. Mayfield Aged Care has been providing innovative, luxurious aged care accommodation, outstanding care and extra services in Mayfield. This is a stand-alone site with 109 licences which has been family run since 1982.
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, leading and motivating all on site staff and management to deliver the best in residential care and services. Reporting directly to the Board will be supported by an established on-site team, including compliance, rostering, reception as well as a supportive clinical care team. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience managing residential aged care sites; however, we are willing to consider applicants who have relevant experience managing sites for service based industry.
The role:
With the support of Clinical Manger, the General Manager will be responsible for maintaining effective control of all operational aspects of the home.

Key responsibilities :
- Day to day operational management of the medium (???) sized facility
- Ensure residents experience high quality support, care and services
- Coach and support direct reports adhering to values of the organisation
- Lead, manage staff to continue to achieve high standards
- Achieve clinical and operational KPIs and maintain standards of care delivery, including responsible for AN-ACC and occupancy
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Actively meet performance targets in line with financial and human resource guidelines
- Ensure outstanding customer service and nurture relationships with residents, families and staff
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ideally Experience as a Residential Aged Care Manager working within Aged Care. Or relevant experience managing operations in a service-based industry
- Current AHPRA Registration is favourable though not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards/Governance
- Understanding of day-to-day operational management of a facility
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting
- Change management experience
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Well established computer skills
- Current NDIS check
- Strong people management skills with a natural ability to proactively lead, coach and mentor your team.
