Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Senior PharmacistGeneral Medicine to join our growing Pharmacy team on a full time, ongoing basis.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with experience in clinical pharmacy to lead the development and management of pharmacy services to the Latrobe Regional Health General Medicine services. As the Senior Pharmacist for General Medicine, you will have the unique opportunity to design and implement dynamic and innovative clinical pharmacist roles including extended scope of practice activities. The post holder would be expected to contribute to educational and research activities of the Pharmacy Department and General Medicine teams.
Latrobe Regional Health Pharmacy Department is offering a leading edge and synergistic education partnership with Alfred Health Pharmacy Department, a team with a national reputation for originality and excellence. This unique opportunity blends aspects of clinical experience across both health services, a major tertiary and a major regional hospital. The long-term education partnership will deliver education programs including foundation residency and advanced training residencies in specialty areas such as General Medicine and many others to come at Latrobe Regional Health.
We offer:
- Salary: $125K to $145K pa

Latrobe Regional Hospital is located in the heart of the beautiful Gippsland region and are a major provider of a range of health services across Gippsland. Latrobe Regional Hospital is experiencing significant growth, with our $217 million hospital expansion due to open early 2024.
What you’ll bring:
- Registered pharmacist with APRHA without restriction
- Relevant post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy is desirable
- Recognition as an ANZCAP registrar or consultant, or equivalent, in the specialty of General Medicine or a related area is desirable
