Sunrise Health Service (Sunrise) is searching for skilled General Practitioners to become part of their dedicated team in Ngukurr Northern Territory.

Sunrise clinics span 9 remote communities to the east of Katherine, serving a population of around 3,800, with many of residents facing chronic illnesses that necessitate early detection and comprehensive care.

What's the role?
Being the successful GP, you’ll reside and work in the community of Ngukurr providing clinical services to its residents, while becoming a valuable member of the community.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and contribute to vital primary health care initiatives and community consultations.
What do you need to apply?
- Specialist General Practitioner registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship with RACGP or ACCRM
- Diverse experience in primary health care, suitable for a rural/remote context
- Understanding and dedication to the principles of Aboriginal community-controlled primary health care delivery

Sunrise also have a GP locum opportunity available that lets you experience “a day in the life” of the Ngukurr community for a short period of time, before committing to a fulltime placement.
What’s in it for you?
- $1800 per day
- 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- No on-call, callouts or public holidays
- All transport from the nearest major airport to and from your location
- Self-contained accommodation and vehicle provided while on placement
