The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Generalist HR People & Culture Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources (“HR”) management, with a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the company's overall business objectives and promote employee engagement, retention, and growth.
This role involves:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives and culture of the organisation.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Up to date knowledge of the latest Fair Work, NES, and Modern Award frameworks, including being adept at interpreting changes and identifying their implications for the business.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all locations where the company operates, including industrial relations matters.
- Manage employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement global HR strategies for international expansion.
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
To be the successful candidate, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources.
- Five+ years of progressive HR Management experience.
- Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Australia with the capability to navigate and comprehend regulations in other areas, as necessary.
- Proven history of developing and implementing innovative HR programs and initiatives that drive business results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
