These full-time positions offer a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. While the role is based in Geelong or Richmond, some in-office time is required. As this is a Federal role, only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.About the RolesThe HR Generalist engages with internal and external stakeholders, offering advice and resolving moderately complex enquiries. The role may be assigned to any team or branch within the People & Culture division.Key Responsibilities
- Handling, resolving, and addressing a variety of employee issues and enquiries in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement (EA), workplace practices, and relevant legislation.
- Providing advice and support on a range of People & Culture (P&C) functions, including performance, systems, and processes, as well as offering HR advice across multiple functions.
- Conducting research and contributing to P&C policies and supporting materials, ensuring practices comply with policy, organisational culture, and values.
- Assisting senior business leaders, managers, and employees in understanding the impact of changes to work practices, including the development of learning materials such as guides, information sheets, and other supporting resources.
- Managing or responding to enquiries, including those related to recruitment activities, general P&C matters, and compliance activities.
- Managing and delivering projects, while providing administrative support to teams, including reporting and secretariat functions across the division.
- Offer support, guidance, and recommendations for enhancing business process efficiency.
- Handle the Conflict of Interest queue in the People and Culture Service Desk, including checking the accuracy of forms and ensuring proper approval nominations.
- Australian Citizenship
- Demonstrated ability to research and interpret information.
- Generalist HR experience
- Understanding of conflict of interest in a workplace setting (preferred)
- Experience with Service Desk (Jira) or ticket system software would be advantageous.
