About The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a driven, pro-active professional to join our Australian Team, the largest and fastest-growing region of Micromine. In this role you will play a pivotal role in supporting geologist who use our various software solutions.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager this role is responsible for driving the ongoing engagement of our customers using our Origin and Geobank software solutions. This role will pro-actively analyse usage data, and support users who could better utilise and drive value from their licences with support, training and consulting.
- Analyse usage data and determine trends which indicates customers who need further support.
- Provide technical support for users who have a current active Micromine licence.
- Document all support issues in the company’s support management database.
- Escalate complex issues to other departments as required.
- Occasionally support the delivery of training courses online and face to face to clients.
- Ensure that enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised with the product development team, reviewed, and closed when resolved.
- Provide technical support to other staff members for various promotional or product development projects as required.
About You
You will have a proven background within earth sciences and is keen to transition into the software industry.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A recognised tertiary earth science qualification.
- Experience as a Geologist or related profession.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Recent experience in providing technical support, client training, or public presentations (desirable).
- Ideally recent experience with Micromine software or general mining software (desirable).
