About the Company Davidson Technology are currently supporting an Integral Federal Government Department to secure a skilled Geospatial Analyst to join the team on a 12-month contract with the option of 2 x 12-month extensions. About the Role As a Geospatial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in scoping, sourcing, and optimising data for analysis, applying innovative techniques to model results and scenarios while ensuring system integrity.

Your responsibilities will include identifying GIS requirements, technical issues, and training needs, as well as analysing current business processes and recommending best practice solutions. You will provide technical insight and recommendations, leveraging expert knowledge to deliver quality solutions supporting complex IT project delivery. Additionally, you will support day-to-day GIS operations in the department, determining geospatial architecture priorities, providing guidance, and offering assistance on project-related activities.
