Are you a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in the field? A&Y Associates Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Geotechnical Engineer. As a reputable Geotechnical Engineering consultancy based in Truganina, Melbourne, we are committed to delivering high-quality results and services to our clients. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and potentially advance to a team leader role.

For this role, you'll be responsible for conducting site investigations, designing, and preparing reports for geotechnical projects, all while benefiting from the collaborative assistance of your fellow A&Y team members. Furthermore, you will:

• Conduct geotechnical analyses and assessments to support construction projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the success of projects.
• Participate in on-site investigations and data collection.
• Supervise project advancement in alignment with budgetary constraints, safeguarding against potential cost overruns.
• Guarantee the punctual delivery of technical outputs, upholding our commitment to timely and impactful results.
• Prepare proposals, technical literature, and various correspondences with meticulous attention to detail.
• Assist in the training and mentorship of junior engineers.

To be eligible we are looking for the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Great project management and people skills.
• Demonstrated experience in site investigation and geotechnical consulting projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Technical report writing abilities
• Local experience is preferred
• Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
