THE ROLE

This opportunity will suit an individual that holds a passion for making a difference, with an empathetic and supportive nature. Working closely with marketing, events, and corporate partnerships teams - this role contributes towards increasing funds raised via bequests, to allow the organisation to continue its vital work. The successful candidate will build, maintain, and nurture relationships with potential and existing benefactors through a variety of channels; including email, phone calls, in-person visits, and events.

THE DUTIES

  • Proactively identify, cultivate, and nurture a pipeline of potential and confirmed bequestors.
  • Coordinate comprehensive communication and touchpoint programs for donors- including mailings, digital campaigns, and personalised interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records on the CRM database, and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to organise targeted events to engage bequestors.
  • Showcase the impactful services of the organisation by taking potential and confirmed bequestors on site visits. 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Empathy, flexibility, openness to learning, and sensitivity are key skills within this position.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in utilising digital tools for effective donor engagement.
  • Experience in fundraising, donor care, or bequests is advantageous.
