Your opportunity:
We have an exciting, permanent full-time opportunity for a GIS Product Engineer to join our Product Asset Intelligence team within our Digital and Information group.
The GIS Product Engineer supports the Spatial Product Manager delivering the Spatial product roadmap as well as providing ongoing operational support of the enterprise spatial solution for Urban Utilities.
Primarily a team facing role collaborating with the Product and Business leads to deliver Spatial continuous improvement and project deliverables. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of scalable and automated Spatial solutions. Provide ITIL level 2 support for the enterprise GIS solution which includes ESRI Enterprise GIS, AGOL and Portal, FME, Microsoft SQL database and Geocortex. Customer support and engagement activities to ensure Urban Utilities attains the maximum benefits from the Spatial Product.

About you:
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise
- Extensive recent experience in the configuration and administration of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise software (Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Portal and AGOL), Vertigis/GeoCortex and FME (Desktop and Server).
- Experience in developing Spatial solutions in AGOL and Portal (dashboards, story maps, Survey 123, etc) and/or developing workflows using Vertigis/GeoCortex.
- Experience in building and managing enterprise-wide Spatial platforms using SQL Server database
You’ll need to be a genuine people person who’ll pitch in alongside your team, with the tenacity to drive change and deliver real outcomes. You’ll care about the important work we do and have a fire in your belly for helping to shape our future too.
