Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.

The Role:

We are looking for someone who can be the conduit between the engineering teams and the environmental function, to help pull together each functions data and inputs to ensure things are effectively digitised and accurate.

• Supporting in the development and management of GIS applications
• Overseeing the planning and coordination of GIS activities
• GIS data conversion between multiple file formats
• Produce high quality maps and reports and actively contribute to the development and delivery of mapping and spatial project data

Thrive with us! We hope you'll bring:

• 5 years' experience in a GIS role and tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
• Sound data management, cartographic and spatial reasoning skills
• Preparing, creating, and maintaining data management documentation
• Ideally some experience working in a mining and engineering environment
• Extensive experience, knowledge and skills in the application of GIS analysis techniques and software systems.
