Opportunity to work with a reputable EPCM who service major clients in the resources industry. They are currently looking for an experienced GIS professional to be based out of one of their key clients’ office in the CBD. This is a long-term role, reporting into the Engineering Manager on a major project for the business.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pulling together engineering and environmental inputs
- Ensure items are effectively digitized and presented to assist in decision making and execution
- Support in the development and management of GIS applications
- GIS data conversion between multiple file formats
- Produce high quality maps and reports
- Actively contribute to the development and delivery of mapping and spatial project data
- Oversee the planning and coordination of GIS activities
- Work closely with the Lead Environmental Advisor and broader environmental team
Requirements
- GIS experience ideally in the mining and resources industry
- Data management, cartographic and spatial reasoning skills
- Experience preparing, creating and maintaining data management documentation
- Full working rights in Australia
