Lifeblood provides humanitarian support through the Global Advisory Panel (GAP) who provide corporate governance and risk management support and advice to Red Cross Red Crescent Society Blood Services globally.
As a GAP Program Leader, you will be responsible for providing analysis, specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise on international blood programs to help manage and implement program activities and projects as part of the Global Advisory Panel Secretariat.
You will support the delivery of GAP’s international program of work by coordination and reporting of the GAP Self-assessment programs, providing technical expertise on specific GAP projects and developing proposals for new activities and initiatives
As part of the GAP Secretariat you will be required to manage and provide international GAP member support, including coordination of international meetings and development of executive level briefings. You may be required to attend international meetings as a GAP representative to deliver presentations and reports to build stakeholder understanding of GAPs program and activities.

- Specialist technical knowledge of blood service delivery or experience of related health service delivery
- Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Health Sciences, Public Health, International Relations, or other similar Degree
- Demonstrated project management experience and high level organisational skills, with proven ability to achieve objectives within set deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with experience in providing written and oral reports and presentations to senior management and external audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, objectivity and high level judgement to determine the best course of action
- High level of cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work in a virtual environment and manage relationships accordingly
- Ability to operate in a rapidly changing work environment
