About the Role
Ngala is seeking for suitable and experienced candidates to join as a Program Leader for our Target 120 program. This program aims to work with at risk recidivist young people and their families to reduce offending behaviour, thereby contributing to a long-term vision of creating safer and more connected families.
The successful candidate will be proactive and have the ability to work collaboratively across all departments ensuring the focus is always on quality and best practice.
As a Program Leader, your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate and lead Target 120 program and team to achieve program deliverables.
- Connect and build collaborative relationships with key community stakeholders and families.
- Lead Case Management of Young People and Families alongside Target 120 team.
- Lead and coordinate Local Interagency Group Meetings with key stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will be highly organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with the target group.
- A knowledge and sensitivity to the barriers that may prevent families and young people at risk from achieving their full potential.
- Previous experience leading and managing a team.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work independently and also as part of a specialised team.
- Intermediate/Proficient level of IT and Administrative skills.
- Advanced communication skills, verbally and written.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Act with integrity in all organisational activities and maintain confidentiality.
If you are successful in this position you will need to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
