Reporting into our Digital Director for Penfolds, this newly created role will see you leading the data strategy to enable the leadership team to be making data-driven decisions that align with Penfolds' long-term strategic initiatives and to maximise impact and value creation.
- Accountable for the delivery, development and adoption of highly effective reporting that transforms the level of insights we have to interrogate and inform Penfolds decision making
- Enhance the user experience at all levels of global Penfolds in finding, interpreting, interrogating, and embedding insights into routine decision making and forums
- Operational and thought leadership of Penfolds data and analytics function which serves the entire global Penfolds value chain
- Lead the education of Penfolds business stakeholders about how they can optimise data and analytics to better inform decision making
- In the mid- to long-term, expand Penfolds capability to be beyond reporting - evolving into predictive analytics using consumer data and customer insights
Our ideal candidate will bring experience in analytics, digital marketing, eCommerce and change management. Consumer-centric in your thinking, you will be able to build effective relationships across a global stakeholder group and will feel at ease delivering in a hands-on environment.
- Proficient in advanced analytics
- Strong systems-thinking capabilities including building the link between data and actionable insight that is actively used by decision makers
- Able to quickly grasp business data analytics requirements to then develop and deliver a strategic roadmap
- Understanding of broader business drivers as well as the end-to-end Penfolds value chain, including cause/effect and inter-dependencies of processes and data
- Advanced knowledge of applicable technologies e.g. Relational databases, Power BI, Web & Advertising Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), AWS, Salesforce
