Eurofins Environment Testing Australia New Zealand is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch, with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. 

• Full time permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
• Dandenong South location

The Analytical Services Manager is responsible for liaising with clients, reporting results and issuing invoices in a timely fashion, to meet the client's expectations. 

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the role will focus on:

• Liaising with clients via phone, email and client visits and ensuring information provided to clients are accurate and of a high quality
• Providing assistance to clients in regards to responding to queries, coordinating sample container orders and sample pick-ups.
• Organising report work lists to ensure reporting to clients in a timely manner, including following up on result progress with lab staff and with subcontract labs where needed.
• Communicating with clients with any issues that may arise.
• Generating, editing, checking and reviewing reports and invoices

Tertiary qualifications in Science and/or Laboratory Techniques.

About you

• A minimum 3 years of lab experience or client services experience is essential.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to structure a communication deliberately, logically and directly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Efficiency with a great eye for detail and high level of accuracy.
• Intermediate computer literacy: Excel, Word & Outlook. General knowledge about systems, IT architecture and production control, will be an advantage
