Job description

We are looking to add experienced Sales and Business Development Managers to join our team at Invenio. We love results orientated self-starters, preferably with experience in selling services, and engineering background who get their kicks out of providing solutions to the challenges faced by clients. We are after confident, high-achieving individuals who are excited about engaging with potential clients, fostering new business relationships and driving sales of our Engineering Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Generate sales of Invenios solutions, primarily SolidWorks 3D Mechanical Design software including Simulation, Product Data & Lifecycle Management software applications, and other products/services as required
  • Create and execute a territory plan in collaboration with the team to create value to the customer base and prospects
  • Manage sales pipeline to consistently exceed assigned sales goals within assigned territory
  • Collaborate with sales team, Vendors representatives pre-sales engineers and other technical staff to coordinate and conduct demonstrations and events
  • Drive incremental revenue within assigned accounts - owning and closing deals end to end to meet or exceed quota
  • Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals.
  • Drive opportunity management of volume opportunities. Focus on insuring customer needs are understood and addressed in the sales process.
  • Manage all leads and opportunities in assigned territory using company CRM reporting tool
  • Identify, lead, execute and close new business opportunities and sales cycles;
  • Prepare and maintain detailed sales forecasts and present them to management

Client Engagement and Analysis:

  • Determine the needs and conditions for a particular product or system.
  • Identify requirements by establishing personal rapport with prospect and existing clients along with all stakeholders.
  • Review functional requirements and provide POC/ROI along with hardware/software infrastructure recommendations.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements to accurately define statement of works and provide estimated effort times.
  • Interacting with end users to capture their concerns and/or issues and validating those requirements.

Pre-Sales Technical Support:

  • Ongoing development of technical skills and knowledge of INVENIOs software solutions, running monthly webinars, and maintaining 3DExperience cloud, infrastructure, support, solution, and pre-sales certifications.
  • Maintain relationships at the technical level with customers to assist sales at key customer sites
  • Visit customer sites regularly, design value assessment visits (issues/in-efficiencies in design process/upsell).
  • Review and contribute to customer proposals for all Business Solutions offerings.
  • Marketing and liaising with existing customers and potential customers.
  • Provide technical assistance in all marketing and sales events, campaigns, and all engagements.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in providing technical consultation to clients, ideally in Dassault Systemes solutions
  • Experience in supporting Business Development within technical related industries.
  • Possess industry knowledge and contacts - Transportation, Manufacturing and/or Defence is a plus.
  • Focused on fostering exceptional customer relationships that are second to none.
  • Flexible, team player who can wear many hats while working across departments.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred (Engineering major a strong plus).
