The Global Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading the University’s engagement efforts across countries, regions and partners, in close collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The Global Partnership Manager strengthens existing and identifies and develops new international partnerships, including comprehensive research and education collaborations, articulation partnerships, sponsor opportunities, and transnational education (TNE) initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic ambitions.
The Global Partnerships Manager will actively contribute to the continued development and implementation of the University’s global engagement framework, assisting with the management of international projects and developing informed and innovative engagement strategies and programmes.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking market intelligence and research to develop clear, creative and detailed strategic partnership plans and country and partner engagement strategies across a broad range of geographical regions. This includes developing high-level recommendations and proposals on future priorities, opportunities and alliances.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and secure new business opportunities, with a particular focus on international relationships, that deliver sustainable and high levels of return on investment.
- Project management experience in a complex, dynamic, high-volume operating environment across a wide range of international projects, including development and oversight of project timelines, resources, stakeholder communications, and deliverables.
- Experience in developing highly effective systems and tools, including templates, procedures, and reporting mechanisms to guide, optimise and evaluate global engagement activities and achievements and to provide consistent, comprehensive and accurate internal information.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships, both internal and external to the organisation to leverage strategic relationships and achieve targets.
- Experience in developing communication resources to support institutional global engagement initiatives, including content for strategic publications, partner communication templates, reports, presentations, and websites.
