  • Working collaboratively with the SLT drive strategic leadership through people and culture strategies.

  • Lead the People, Culture and Capability portfolio supporting services locally, regionally and interstate.

About the role
Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the SLT you will take a pragmatic and compassionate view on driving a strategic alignment for people and capability with the organisation’s vision, mission and values.
  
Whilst leading a small team this is a hands on role engaged in bringing clarity to solving important and emerging issues.
  
Responsibilities
  • Ensure contemporary people and culture methodologies are used to enhance talent attraction and retention, performance management, development and training.
  • Effective use of resources, including data & metrics, in determining short, medium & long term people focused goals and objectives
  • Ensure best practice systems and processes are facilitated through your team for efficient frictionless service delivery in the field.
  • Through effective workforce planning and other tools, identify and deliver the organisational capabilities to achieve strategic goals.
  • Enhance employee competencies, foster leadership skills and career development, promote job satisfaction and continually building strength into the EVP.
  
Skills and experience
  • Experience leading and developing the people and culture function ideally from within the NFP and commercial sector.
  • Experience in using a range of resources, including data and metrics to drive actions and outcomes.
  • Ideally, experience in dealing with the sectors ongoing challenges of staff attraction & retention of clinical staff in remote and regional areas.
  • Experience in working collaboratively as part of a vibrant and diverse SLT.
  • An appropriate qualification and a passion for supporting and helping people reach their true human potential.
