ABOUT THE ROLE:
- As a GovernanceOfficer you will provide proactive and responsive training, mentoring, support and advice on all governance matters to Northern Territory Government School Councils and Boards.
- The role is based in Palmerston City, and requires regular travel to urban, rural, remote and very remote school communities via road, charter and commercial flights during school terms.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ability to impart information on relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated cross cultural competence, preferably in a Northern Territory context.
- Advanced MS office skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work regular evenings and some travel overnight.
