AddressOur client is one of Victora's leading utility companies, who are looking to expand their IT Governance, Risk and Compliance team. They are on the hunt for an experienced GRC Analyst/Specialist to provide advice on a range of compliance matters and participate in assessing the implications of technology change and provide reporting on the function.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate information requests from auditors, reviewing any materials provided by internal SMEs to ensure they are fit for the purpose intended.
- Report and track the delivery of open management actions arising from audits, ensuring that commitments are met on time and in full.
- Work with the CIO and external authorities to approve and raise exemption requests where compliance obligations cannot be met on time, or in full.
- Track accepted exemptions as either short or long-term risks within the register and liaise with the appropriate owner regularly to review current or new risks.
- Provide consulting to the IT team and broader organisation where required with respect to IT compliance obligations.
Key Experience
- 3+ years in a similar role within GRC domain
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT audit, Risk and Compliance obligations is preferable.
- Experience in roles with Information Technology Audit, Risk and Compliance accountabilities is highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Relevant professional compliance/risk qualification or certification is desirable e.g., Associate of GRCI, CPRM / CPRA, 10964NAT, CRISC - Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management.
