Burbank Martial is an agency that ensures our clients' key messages reach and resonate with their target audiences. Our clientele is predominantly in defence, space, aerospace and national security-related environments, and we are passionate about driving their success in the national interest. We use a multitude of tools to communicate, from one-on-one engagements to mass media, and everything in between. We aren't a marketing, public relations or Government Relations agency, but we use all those tools and more to ensure the most efficient and effective communication of key messages.
Qualifications & experience
- Relevant degree qualifications.
- Extensive experience in Government Relations or similar field, particularly in defence or national security environment.
- Highly organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Australian citizenship with full work rights.
- Ability to quickly digest and synthesise complex information, and ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- The highest levels of integrity.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist company leadership and clients to develop and maintain strategic relationships with all levels of political, government and other stakeholders
- Plan, coordinate and manage stakeholder engagements and communications
- Provide specialist advice and support on government and stakeholder-related matters
- Prepare briefs, reports, and presentations for clients, company leadership and external stakeholders
- Some general "staff duties".
