Salary: Initial hourly rate starting at $150 (least experience) up to $300, based on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
About the Company:
Our client, a leading provider of Occupational Health services in the Northern Territory, is seeking a General Practitioner specializing in Occupational Health. With a strong client base in the mining industry, the company offers a range of services including pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol screening, health surveillance, and more.
They are an accredited provider for AFOEM training and offer in-house training to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-employment medical assessments
- Performing drug and alcohol screenings
- Administering audiometry and spirometry tests
- Providing Occupational Health physician services
- Conducting health surveillance and monitoring for hazardous substances
- Performing QLD Coal Board Medicals and other specialized medical assessments
Requirements:
- Full registration with APHRA as a General Practitioner or Specialist
- Occupational health experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
