Role description
An opportunity exists for a Grade 1 Occupational therapist to join the Allied Health team.
The Grade 1 Occupational Therapist will provide evidence based occupational therapy assessment, clinical treatment and management for clients across a range of different programs. This is a rotational position with areas including inpatients, @Home Programs, CHSP and Ambulatory Care outpatient rehabilitation clinics such as falls and balance, neurological and musculoskeletal. There will also be opportunity to work alongside experienced Occupational Therapist in these clinics. The Grade 1 OT will also be an active participant in developing their knowledge and skills through supervision, mentoring and professional development.
About you
The successful applicant will have
- Bachelor/Masters of Occupational Therapy with current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA - accompanied by a sound understanding of person centred Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment pathways
- High level communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to critically reflect on practice and identify any areas for improvement
- Developed time management skills
- Current Driver's licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
