What You Will Be Doing
The Acute Rehabilitation Program (ARP) is a multidisciplinary service that provides early rehabilitation in an acute setting.
The Grade 2 Dietician in the Acute Rehabilitation Program works with the multidisciplinary team to assist patients in regaining their function and independence and facilitate an early supported discharge home where appropriate.
This employment opportunity is available as a permanent part-time position, working the equivalent of 3 days per week.
There is opportunity to work flexible hours across the week if the preferred candidate were to prefer working shorter days.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Member or eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and the APD program
- Demonstrated participation in Professional Development.
- Ability to exhibit a degree of flexibility & time management with regard to workload/ caseload management.
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
- Experience in managing a surgical inpatient clinical caseload
- Experience with supervising and mentoring students, Grade 1 staff and promote professional competence.

*Please refer to salary circular for, Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists & Psychologists) Certified Agreement 2021 - 2025, for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
