About the role

Continuing Care is a new and innovative subacute service specialising in the progression of care with a particular focus on patients with disabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 2 Dietitian to be part of a multidisciplinary team that combines their skills to provide evidence based patient centred care in this dedicated setting.
The successful candidate will be an excellent problem solver, who can work well within a team, but also have excellent time management skills in order to work independently. The candidate will also have strong clinical skills who has the ability to advocate for consumer’s nutritional needs in complex discharge planning.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• • A degree or higher qualifications in dietetics
  • Eligible for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) or an AdvAPD status and maintain this accreditation annually.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Demonstrated excellent track record of teaching or student supervision experience in a tertiary environment.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership and particular specialist knowledge in the area of food service.
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Hold a valid Victorian Drivers Licence
