About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist on a full time, fixed term (March 2025), to work in Community Rehabilitation based at Cranbourne.
The Speech Pathology team within Community Rehabilitation at Monash Health is expanding. Now is a great time to join us and be a part of our relentless pursuit of excellence. We are an inclusive, experienced team of Speech Pathologists offering client-centred, goal driven rehabilitation services maximising independence and well-being following acute illness or injury. We work closely and collaboratively with an experienced multidisciplinary team to achieve our patient’s rehabilitation goals providing quality home and centre-based therapy. We aim to deliver a very high standard of care, making a positive impact to every client we treat.
We are seeking a talented Grade 2 Speech Pathologist or an aspiring Grade 1 Speech Pathologist with proven experience to join our Community Rehabilitation team in a full time, fixed term role.

About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will:
- Champion the Speech Pathology profile and importance of advocating for clients who present with communication and swallowing disorders of varying aetiology
- Establish strong relationships within the multidisciplinary Nursing & Allied Health team to optimise nutrition care for our patients
- Empower the team to drive research and impacts quality improvement projects
- Collaborate with the leadership team to foster a positive team culture that thrives on growth, learning and accountability
You will need:
- Relevant Speech Pathology Qualification,
- Eligible for certified practising membership for Speech Pathology Australia
- Current drivers licence
- Experience in Community Rehabilitation/Hospital based Rehabilitation (desirable)
- Experience in Neurological Rehabilitation (desirable)
- Completed or working towards completion of VFSS competency (desirable)
- Experience in Public Health (desirable)
- Experience in pre-planning reports for NDIS participants (desirable)
