Your new team
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Speech Pathology team. This is a permanent, full time role based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) City Campus in the acute medicine team.
Your Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 clinician, with acute experience, to join the RMH Speech Pathology department. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of an acute caseload.
About You
- Experience working in the acute setting;
- Willingness to participate in a 7-day model of care;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and in co-operation with others;
- Clinical skills in comprehensive assessment, management and discharge planning;
- Professional behaviour and conduct which reflects self-initiative, confidentiality, self-evaluation and commitment to professional development;
- Good working knowledge of community support services;
- Skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs;
- Commitment to continued professional development;
- Ability to manage a demanding workload, and effectively prioritise tasks
