Casual Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist - Emergency

  • Casual Grade 3 opportunity
  • Predominantly cover for weekends and public holidays (7 hour shifts)
  • Supportive team in a busy and vibrant Emergency Department

We are a team working together to deliver excellence in patient care, research, clinical supervision and student teaching. We enjoy a collaborative working environment with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to maximise the role of Physiotherapy in the Emergency Department.

Your new role:

  • Provide leadership of the physiotherapy service in the Emergency Department to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care.
  • Ensure excellence in clinical care provision.
  • Work autonomously and within the team.

About You:

  • You have extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and have worked in an Emergency Department environment or Advanced Musculoskeletal clinics.  
  • You have post graduate qualifications in Musculoskeletal, Sports or Advanced Scope Physiotherapy (completed or working towards completion).
  • You have a high level of clinical reasoning and clinical knowledge.
  • You have well developed leadership and communication skills.
