- Provide high-quality clinical services as a Speech Pathologist to individuals across the lifespan.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of primary health care principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Supervise and mentor students, Allied Health Assistants (AHAs), and Grade 1 & 2 staff in clinical practice.
- Utilize well-developed interpersonal, written, and electronic communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Minimum 6 years (consideration of fewer) clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist.
- Proficient understanding of primary health care and the NDIS.
- Experience in clinical supervision of students, AHAs, and Grade 1 & 2 staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in written and electronic formats.
- Satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement and as required thereafter.
- Satisfactory Working with Children Check prior to commencement and as required thereafter.
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health Officer - COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions.
- Healthcare workers to whom the mandatory vaccination (influenza vaccination) directions apply will be required to be vaccinated annually.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
