Currently, Muster Potatoes is on the lookout for a Grading Shed Supervisor, offering an opportunity to join their team immediately.
The Role:
In managing daily operations, responsibilities span supervising and managing the rostering of grading staff and liaising with local and interstate customers regarding orders, delivery requirements, times, and locations. Part of the role involves organising and coordinating the grading team and ensuring quality control checks and all compliance-related activities are completed. Dispatch coordination is crucial to achieving consistent and accurate order fulfilment, including loading and unloading trucks. Ensuring all Grading Shed and dispatch paperwork is complete and performing relevant office and administrative duties as required are key tasks. Adherence to safety, quality, HR, and other policies and procedures is mandatory, along with coordinating regular checks and preventative maintenance activities to maintain packing shed cleanliness. It is also essential to ensure all produce is graded to the highest quality, and managing the produce in and out of the cool room is critical for maintaining freshness and quality standards.
The ideal candidate for this position should demonstrate strong leadership skills, including inspiring and motivating others. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying ideas and information within the team and to external stakeholders. A positive attitude is crucial for maintaining a constructive and supportive work environment, and the capacity to take direction well is vital for aligning individual efforts with team objectives. Furthermore, the ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team, leveraging diverse skills and perspectives, will be a key factor in the success of the chosen candidate.
A forklift license is required for this position.

Offering a well-kept, three-bedroom house with a single bathroom and fairly modern kitchen, situated 18 kilometres from the vibrant township of Pinaroo. This position's working hours are flexible, accommodating the unpredictability of weather conditions.
