The Role
In your role as Graduate Accountant, you will
- Play a pivotal supporting role within the team.
- Report to a Financial Accounting Team Leader and support the team in some more basic, but highly fundamental tasks.
- In the first 6-12 months, mainly focus on month-end tasks such as reconciliations, journals, and invoicing for the multiple entities across the group.
Your Background
Our client is very mindful of ensuring consistency in its team culture, so we are looking for Graduate Accountants with:
- A degree in Accounting/Commerce that was completed in the last 12 months OR you are working towards it now.
- Some work experience in administration, accounting, retail or customer service.
- Less than 18 months of experience in accounting.
- Strong academics with at least a credit average.

Please note - This is an entry-level role to ensure there is succession planning in the team and our client is looking for a junior with no more than 18 months of experience in accounting.
