We are the only private water utility in Australia that has the end-to-end design, build, operation and customer retail of wastewater and recycled water services.We are SeekingAltogether is looking for an Asset Planner to join our capital projects team. You will have the overall responsibility of maintaining relationships and communications with our foundation developers, building and facility managers in our communities, with public utilities (such as Sydney Water or Hunter Water), and Local Government Councils.As Asset Planner, you will act as our Contract Administrator for the Project Delivery Agreements (PDAs) providing the planning, forecasting and budgeting requirements based on our connection rates. With in-depth knowledge of our water schemes, you'll be able to track Equivalent Tenements (ETs) versus our design capacity and actuals, ensuring scheme capacity is not exceeded.Core Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling the requirements for Local Water Centre, Network and other upgrades/integrations based on PDAs initiated triggers, including the liaison work with Finance to ensure funding and cash flow models incorporate these requirements.
- Working with our Network Engineering team and Water Quality team, you will be responsible for all Licensing and approvals - EPA, IPART, Council etc for the schemes, ensuring appropriate applications are lodged on time and fees are included in budget forecasts.
- Reviewing retic connection applications and designs from Construction Developers for suitability and issue appropriate permits/approvals.
- Create, update or review/approve business documents required including policies, plans and procedures.
- Engineering or construction management qualifications and/or 10 or more years of relevant industry experience,
- Experience within the water, utilities, or construction industry
- Significant experience in reading and interpreting contracts and the administration of same
- Working knowledge of state government, council and Regulatory bodies and the relevant approval processes would be desirable
- Preferably have experiences with Green or Brown field project management
