Job DescriptionAs part of the Corporate Services department, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation. From month-end general ledger reconciliation to providing support for our financial service functions, you’ll gain hands-on experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
A snapshot of your day
- Perform month end processes, including the preparation and posting of journals.
- Support the financial monitoring and reporting process relating to statutory accounts
- Ensure end-to-end workflows/processes are efficient, documented and drive agreed business outcomes
- Ensure accurate and appropriate supporting documentation to meet compliance obligations
- Provide general accounting support to Managers, staff and working groups
Our ideal candidate will be someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and enjoy problem solving. You will be an excellent communicator, with a positive and proactive approach to working within a small team and independently.

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 3 $72,745 - $80,537 base salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
