THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of The Group Projects Team, the purpose of the Graduate Accountant is to assist with the accurate and timely reporting of project financial information of the organisation.
Location: Lance Creek
Your Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate project financials reporting
- Maintaining weekly project tracker and liaising with the wider projects team
- Timely processing of purchase orders
- Chasing invoices, receipting POs and identifying variances.
- Assist with adhoc inquiries from the site leadership team.
- Liaise and build working relationships with Project teams
- Perform weekly reviews with the projects team
- Statutory reporting and compliance
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
You will bring with you:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of work
- Knowledge of systems (eg: excel)
- Effective time management skills with an ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to deadlines
- Practical and creative approaches to providing analysis and problem solving
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and ability to demonstrate initiative and contribute to team performance
Experience:
- Experience in Plant / Project environment
- Degree qualified (preferable)
- Interest in building a career in finance
