MACA Interquip is currently seeking a Graduate Accountant to commence in our West Perth office.
The role will assist with performing cost control functions specific to projects, as well as general finance support for core functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
MACA Interquip is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing, hydrometallurgical facilities for clients across Australia.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparation of monthly claims for projects.
- Preparation of debtor invoices.
- Assist with the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal and external auditors.
- Prepare and perform initial review of project cost reports. Interrogate material variances to budgets and forecasts and identify drivers of variances.
- Provide support with financial accounting functions including balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Degree Qualified or nearing completion in relevant discipline with desire to progress towards CA/CPA qualification.
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Takes pride in own work
- Shows initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Fast and accurate data entry
