Role tasks & Responsibilities
This part time role will provide learning opportunities for a recent graduate or new entrant to the Australian accounting industry.
The role will assist the company accountant to perform a wide range of finance roles across payroll, debtors, creditors, inventory, treasury and the administrative finance duties.
Month-end close process including entry of accrual journal entries, checking the integrity of finance modules and reconciling all accounts.
Track all the business transactions, ensure accurate records and mitigate fraud risks.
Reconciling company expenses, income and revenue.
Assisting to review bank accounts and statements.
Assisting with preparation of key financial reports and statements.
Assisting with preparation of the Profit & Loss statement summarising earnings and spend.
Assisting with preparation of the Balance Sheet detailing all assets and liabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Accounting education and experience required.
An understanding of double entry accounting.
A familiarity with accounting software.
Experience with the Microsoft suite including excel, word, outlook and more.
