The role
This is a broad role reporting to the Group Financial Controller and is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to develop their skills.
The position is responsible for the accounting operations of the group including End-to-end delivery of the month-end, half year and year-end closing processes and reporting requirements including but not limited to:
- Take a leading role in ensuring accurate and timely preparation and reconciliation of financial statements
- Assist across all the areas of the financial operations, support and oversee AP, AR
- Key role in liaising with external auditors
- Assist with income tax matters
- Ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed.
This is a broad and varied role and other duties will form part of the role.
The person
We're seeking someone:
- 5+ years of accounting experience with strong month-end experience.
- Experience with AP/AR and Assistant Accountant roles
- Hold or working towards CPA/CA or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good Knowledge of IFRS
- Analytical, high motivated
- Attention to detail
- Enjoys a small team environment
- Willing to be hands on when necessary

- Australian citizenship
Salary
Indicative salary is $100,000 plus superannuation
