SBC is a leading provider of Enterprise Management Solutions for claims management, OH&S, insurance, risk management and case management systems in Australia. With offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland and clients throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific, we are seeking a client facing Graduate Business Analyst to join our Brisbane office to work on both new and existing client software integrations.
The major accountabilities of the role include:
- Preparation of key project documentation such as functional specifications, report specifications, change control and user guides in accordance with company standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Evaluating and analysing business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions through an agile project methodology.
- Business process modelling including development of process workflows.
- Responding to client queries via phone and email, using your exceptional customer service skills.
- Undertaking Functionality and Usability Testing under key business KPIs for Software enhancements and implementations.
- Co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing with end users and project team members across Australia and New Zealand.
- Preparation and execution of test plans and test cases.
- Preparation of training guides and end user documentation
The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project development lifecycle, analysis of our clients’ future requirements and compliance with relevant legislative requirements within a project team.
The key selection criteria for this position are as follows:
- Advanced written and oral skills in the English language.
- Quick learner who can work independently.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Proven documentation skills for IT Projects.
- Proficiency in screen design and user interface prototyping.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a Project team operating at multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand .
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodology.
- Knowledge of SQL is desirable.
- Experience with software testing, preparation of test plans and/or functional requirements would be highly regarded.
- New or Recent graduate from a Degree in Information Technology from an Australian or New Zealand university (1 to 2 years past).
