The opportunity
An exciting opportunity within ORDE’s growing credit team with further career advancement. ORDE’s Credit Team is responsible for the credit assessment of all mortgage applications received from our external business partners being brokers. This team works closely with our Sales and Settlement teams and external business partners to deliver exceptional outcomes for all parties.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Pre-assess mortgage applications and package ready for assessment by a Credit Analyst
Building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
Encouraged to make credit decisions
Processing of valuation payments and ordering property valuations
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards internal and external stakeholders
Be willing to learn and be coached so you can progress to a Credit Analyst or relationship management role
About you:
Recent university graduate or minimum 6 months experience in a similar role within lending
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of the credit assessment process is desirable
Experience or committed attitude to meeting strict SLAs
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with team members and be forthright and proactive in a dynamic environment
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to align with ORDE’s high performance culture and make a positive impact on our operations, people, and culture
