The City is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic GRADUATE ENGINEER to join its Technical Services and Program Delivery team.

This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to asset management, project management, design and delivery of quality assets to enhance Sydney's position as a globally competitive and innovative city.

You will be part of a dynamic team of technical specialists who are dedicated to deliver the best city environment for living, business, work, and recreation, by contributing to the management and implementing the City's asset management plans and strategy and developing and delivering programs for the Cityâs civil infrastructure and street lighting assets â valued at over $2.75b.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset management best practice, resulting in assets that meet the needs of the community whilst being sustainable, resilient, safe, and aligned to the vision and directions of our exciting and ambitious Community Strategic Plan - Delivering Sustainable Sydney 2030-2050.

To be successful you will have recently completed your tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline, the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team including good interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance a range of organisational priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will also have:

- A commitment to accountability and quality outcomes
- Attention to detail and sound problem solving skills
- A good level of written and oral communication skills and computer skills
- A Class C Driverâs Licence
