Our Security team based in Brisbane is looking for a Graduate Engineer that is keen to forge their career in this multidisciplinary and dynamic team. Within this 20 strong national group of Engineers, Designers and Drafters, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of local and national projects whilst being connected with a global business with over 10,000 professionals.
Working with a blend of remote and office-based work, you’ll be based out of our Brisbane office whose office environment includes a strong cohort of graduates and other early career professionals – you’re sure to find your tribe once you start.
What will you do in the role?
- Work closely with industry experts to guide and mentor you through technical security designs for High Security Alarm, Electronic Access Control, CCTV and Communications Systems
- Work collaboratively with an experienced team on joint venture tasks including large construction projects in Defence, Transport, and Infrastructure.
- Develop threat and risk profiles collaboratively to complete Security Risk and Threat Assessments with our Cyber and Physical Security Risk team including investigative crime and terrorism event statistics
- Develop and review drafting and modelling in a 3D environment to determine Physical Security Vulnerabilities to defend against and design for Hostile Vehicle Mitigation and Blast requirements
- Connect in with a wider team of professionals to share insights, knowledge and improve your overall technical capabilities
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Is passionate about the consulting industry
- Has recently graduate, or will graduate at the end of the year with a degree in (Electronics, Computer Systems or Security Risk Management)
- Strong communication teamwork and communication skills
- Any prior experience in an engineering environment will be highly regarded.
