Are you a recent graduate, last-year undergraduate, or in the early stages of your career as an Environmental Scientist or Engineer and would like to work with a first-class consulting team with ample opportunity for career advancement?

We are currently seeking Graduate Environmental Consultants to join our Assessments and Approvals team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across our full range of client portfolios including energy, infrastructure, mining, industry and land development, contribute to exceptional outcomes and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

About you

You are an energetic and passionate recent university graduate, last-year undergraduate, or young professional with either a keen interest or experience in assessment and approvals, mostly in NSW.

You have excellent report writing and communication skills and a strong team focus. You can work independently, and you know how to really make a role your own. You have an interest in developing strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines which works well with your degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, or related discipline.

What you will bring to the team:

• Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Natural Resources Management university degree (or working towards this in your final year)

• Be pro-active, self-motivated and friendly

• Excellent writing, verbal communication and problem-solving skills

• Passion for technical excellence, high attention to detail and solution oriented

• Familiarity with applicable environmental planning legislation and guidelines

• Ideally some previous experience and knowledge of NSW approvals would be beneficial

• Valid current driver’s licence and willingness and capability to travel for occasional fieldwork
